In recent years, there’s been a growing awareness of how building components contribute to fire safety, especially in the wake of the Grenfell tragedy. That event marked a turning point, prompting a much-needed review of Building Regulations and placing a sharper focus on how materials behave in the event of a fire. At Integrated Dorosets, we’ve taken this responsibility seriously, and it’s what led us to develop EuroB, a fully tested, decorative wall panelling system designed to meet the stringent reaction to fire requirements outlined in Approved Document B.
EuroB has been engineered to meet the highest standards, achieving a B-s1, d0 classification under EN13501-1, the top rating available for combustible materials. While our fire-rated doorsets are designed to resist fire, EuroB plays a different but equally vital role: it helps prevent the spread of fire and reduces the toxicity of emissions, contributing to safer environments in both residential and commercial buildings.
Timber-based panelling is often specified for its aesthetic appeal, used as the final cladding layer over structural fire-resistant walls, whether masonry, dry lining, or other certified systems. EuroB panels are designed to be applied directly to these surfaces, offering both beauty and performance. Every configuration is tailored to the specific building, and our drawing office works closely with architects to ensure the design intent is fully realised. Once we have the site dimensions, we refine the drawings and provide 3D visuals to bring the concept to life.
We’ve made sure EuroB is as versatile as it is safe. It’s available in a wide range of finishes, clear, pigmented, painted, veneered, or metallic, so it can be coordinated with any interior design scheme. This flexibility allows us to meet the full scope of architectural requirements without compromising on safety or style.
Over the years, we’ve worked with many other wall panelling systems on the market and have seen the common issues they present. These include veneer reactions to salts, tacky surface finishes from fire-retardant coatings, and unsightly orange peel textures caused by excessive coating layers. With EuroB, we’ve addressed these problems head-on. Our panels are finished using a state-of-the-art robotic spray unit that applies the exact volume of material used in testing, ensuring consistency and performance. We’ve also developed a crystal-clear top coat that eliminates the aesthetic flaws seen in other systems, delivering a smooth, high-quality finish every time.
EuroB represents our commitment to innovation, safety, and design excellence. It’s a solution we’re proud to offer, one that not only meets the latest fire safety standards but also enhances the visual appeal of any space.
