Advanced IT Support Technician - Closing Date 29.05.26

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Job Type: Full-time (on-site)

The Advanced IT Support Technician plays a key role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of IT systems across the organisation.
 
You’ll provide advanced 1st–3rd line support, resolve complex technical issues, and ensure a high standard of service to end users. The role also involves mentoring junior technicians, contributing to infrastructure improvements, supporting IT projects, and driving continuous service improvement in a fast-paced IT environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide 1st–3rd line technical support, managing and resolving escalated tickets across hardware, software, and network issues, while supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Maintain and support core IT systems including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualisation platforms (e.g. Hyper-V)
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues across TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall configurations to minimise disruption
  • Support internally developed business applications, including Excel-based tools (e.g. FTB) and Windows-based systems such as Production Tracker
  • Assist with IT project delivery, including hardware rollouts, system migrations, software implementations, and asset management
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations, supporting reporting and service improvement
  • Provide end-user support and guidance, promoting best practice and effective use of IT systems
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and procedures
  • Support ongoing operational and improvement activities such as server patching and system maintenance

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a helpdesk or IT support environment
  • Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving and diagnostic ability
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and VBA
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Windows Server environments
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment
  • Access to your own vehicle
  • Understanding of SQL (beneficial)
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure setups (advantageous)

Ironmongery Scheduler/Estimator - Closing Date 29.05.26

We are looking for an experienced Ironmongery Scheduler/Estimator to support the delivery of compliant timber doorset and ironmongery packages across a wide range of projects.

Working as part of our technical team, you will be responsible for producing accurate schedules and estimates, ensuring all specifications meet current standards, and providing technical guidance to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

This is a key role within Integrated Doorsets, combining technical expertise, attention to detail, and commercial awareness to ensure every project is delivered correctly, compliantly, and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Producing accurate ironmongery schedules and project estimates
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure compliance
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting to customers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Assessing free-issue ironmongery for compatibility with standards, certification, and test evidence
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to confirm product suitability and approvals
  • Coordinating the sales order process from quotation through to completion
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and commercially viable
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practice
  • Supporting continuous improvement across scheduling, estimating, and technical processes

What we’re looking for

  • GAI Level 3 qualified, with willingness to maintain RegAI status
  • Proven experience in ironmongery scheduling and estimating
  • Strong technical understanding of timber, fire-rated, and acoustic doorsets
  • Knowledge of relevant UK standards, building regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test evidence
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator, able to work with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Commercial awareness and strong problem-solving ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling/estimating software (e.g. Intec)

Desirable

  • Experience within the doorset manufacturing sector
  • Knowledge of certification schemes such as BM TRADA, Certifire, and UKTC
  • Familiarity with project coordination and order management processes

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and support machinery, equipment, and factory facilities to ensure smooth operation
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, including breakdowns and urgent repairs across both sites
  • Monitor and maximise machine uptime through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies, procedures, and certifications
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support production flow and on-time delivery
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and ensure documentation is up to date
  • Investigate, follow up, and resolve faults or issues efficiently
  • Support operations across different areas of the business when required
  • Contribute to a proactive, solution-focused working environment

What we’re looking for

  • Time-served multi-skilled engineer with a formal engineering qualification
  • Experience in both planned and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • Good working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (woodworking machinery preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, including record-keeping and IT competence
  • Willingness to support different areas of the business as needed
  • CNC and PLC knowledge (desirable but not essential)

We are looking for a Head of Customer Experience to lead and develop our customer communication strategy across every stage after an order is placed.

The successful candidate will oversee customer communications across multiple channels, support improvements in customer journeys, and work closely with teams across the business to ensure customer queries and order updates are managed proactively and professionally.

The role will also involve using data, systems and customer insight to improve communication performance and identify ways to resolve recurring customer pain points at source.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the end-to-end customer communication strategy after the order stage.

  • Work closely with Customer Experience, Operations Scheduling, Product and Logistics teams to support seamless and personalised customer interactions.
  • Use customer insight and data to refine messaging and improve engagement.
  • Ensure customers receive regular, proactive updates about their orders and order status.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, helping to develop trusted partner relationships.
  • Oversee the creation of clear, concise and customer-centred communication content.
  • Maintain consistency of messaging across all communication channels and customer segments.
  • Manage urgent and sensitive customer communications with professionalism and clarity.
  • Select and implement a system for logging customer requests and tracking timely query resolution.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for communication effectiveness, including engagement, operational updates and programme updates.
  • Analyse high-frequency customer queries and develop strategies to address recurring issues at source.
  • Work across departments and business units to ensure customer queries are handled in a timely manner.
  • Ensure customer communications comply with relevant regulations and product standards.
