Charity Golf Day at The Nottinghamshire
Last week, Integrated Doorsets (IDSL) hosted its annual Charity Golf Day at The Nottinghamshire Golf and Country Club. The event raised funds for Francis House Children’s Hospice, a charity that provides essential support and respite to families during difficult times.
The day brought together a wide mix of customers, suppliers, and colleagues from across the IDSL network. Familiar faces gathered with a shared goal of supporting a meaningful cause. Generosity came in many forms, from donations and participation to encouragement throughout the day. It was a clear reflection of the strong community spirit within Integrated Doorsets.
Although the weather made a brief attempt to interrupt play, it didn’t dampen the mood. Golf ranged from impressive to entertaining, with plenty of friendly competition and laughter. Stories from the day are already circulating, and some may even resurface at next year’s event.
A Day of Generosity and Impact
Prize winners for nearest the pin, nearest in two, and longest drive chose to donate their winnings back to Francis House Children’s Hospice. These gestures captured the spirit of the event and the values that IDSL holds dear.
The event reached full capacity quickly, showing strong enthusiasm for charity initiatives within the network. Planning for next year is already underway, with hopes to welcome even more participants and raise further support.
Looking back, the day highlighted how much can be achieved when people come together. Every contribution helps Francis House continue its vital work. The Charity Golf Day served as a reminder of what Integrated Doorsets stands for, community, generosity, and making a positive difference.
