Are you passionate about supply chain excellence and ready to play a pivotal role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Controller to join our friendly team at Integrated Doorsets. In this key position, you will ensure that the right materials are available, in the right quantities, at the right time, and at the best cost, supporting smooth production and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Select and manage suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high performance.
  • • Monitor supplier quality, lead times, and resolve issues promptly.
  • • Raise purchase orders, plan materials, and expedite supply to production.
  • • Analyse data to anticipate demand and implement corrective actions.
  • • Support procurement strategies, identify savings, and manage stock levels.
    Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams.
  • • Resolve invoice queries and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • • Ensure compliance with customer and third-party standards.
  • • Contribute to continuous improvement and business performance.

What We're Looking For

  • • Experience in procurement or supply chain within manufacturing.
  • • Strong supplier management and relationship-building skills.
  • • Excellent data analysis abilities and attention to detail.
  • • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • • Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Estimator - Closing Date 16.01.26

 

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Job Type: Full-time (on-site)
Experience Level: 1-2 Years

Join Integrated Doorsets as an Estimator and play a key role in delivering high-quality, bespoke doorset solutions across the UK. As part of a rapidly growing group with a £58m+ turnover, you’ll work in state-of-the-art facilities, supporting major national and regional contractors.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • • Prepare accurate quotations for bespoke doorset packages, panelling, and joinery items.
  • • Assist customers with project enquiries and technical queries.
  • • Review and amend tender documents, identifying value engineering opportunities.
  • • Attend internal handover meetings and engage with customers as needed.
  • • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure project success.

 

What We're Looking For

  • • Experience in estimating, ideally within doors and doorsets.
  • • Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  • • Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, formulas, pivot tables).
  • • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • • Technical understanding of ironmongery is a plus.

  • • Produce quotations for bespoke doorsets, ironmongery, and joinery, ensuring compliance with certification and business margin structures.
  • • Provide expert guidance to customers on project requirements, delivery timescales, and industry standards.
  • • •Mentor and train team members, sharing knowledge of Approved Documents and best practices.
  • • Identify value engineering opportunities and resolve technical queries.
  • • Attend project handovers and customer meetings, offering design solutions where needed.

 

What We're Looking For

  • • Proven experience in estimating, with in-depth knowledge of doorsets and ironmongery.
  • • Strong understanding of industry standards and Approved Documents.
  • • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, formulas, pivot tables).
