Junior Systems Analyst & Esitmator - Closing Date 27.02.26

 

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Job Type: Full-time (on-site)
Experience Level: 1-3 Years

This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in development and systems thinking, someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and turning ideas into practical, reliable tools that help a busy manufacturing environment run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business processes and convert them into clear technical requirements to support ongoing system improvements.
  • Design, develop and maintain internal applications across the full development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment and updates.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the EDGE rule engine, including decision trees and validation rules.
  • Work on internal web applications and Windows‑based tools to enhance functionality, performance and reliability.
  • Create and execute test cases to ensure data integrity, system stability and overall quality.
  • Collaborate with IT, development teams and wider stakeholders to resolve technical issues and provide support.
  • Produce technical documentation and assist in training users across the business.

What We're Looking For

  • A solid grounding in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), C#, SQL and familiarity with ASP.NET.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel/VBA for analysis and automation tasks.
  • An understanding of validation rules, rule engines and centralised data structures.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and a logical approach to tackling challenges.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical colleagues.
  • Familiarity with testing methods and version control systems; exposure to APIs, REST services or SQL optimisation is a bonus.
  • A self‑motivated mindset, with good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a team environment.

Senior Estimator - Closing Date 06.03.26

 

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Job Type: Full-time (on-site)
Experience Level: 2-5 Years
Salary: Competitive

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving technical challenges, enjoys working closely with customers, and takes pride in producing accurate, compliant quotations. If you’re confident interpreting complex project information, comfortable sharing your expertise with others, and ready to play a key part in shaping successful doorset packages, this position gives you the space to lead, support, and make a genuine impact within a growing team.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce accurate quotations for bespoke doorsets, ironmongery, panelling and joinery in line with margin structures and certification requirements.
  • Engage with customers on project enquiries, requirements, and delivery timescales; provide design resolutions where original intent isn’t achievable.
  • Review tender documents, identify value‑engineering opportunities and information gaps, and communicate these clearly to customers.
  • Handover secured orders to the contracts team and attend internal/client meetings as required.
  • Guide customers on relevant Approved Documents and industry standards; mentor and train team members.
  • Work to agreed KPIs, including estimating output, on‑time quotation returns, conversion rates, and non‑conformance expectations.

What we’re looking for

  • A self‑motivated, organised team player with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proven estimating experience with solid understanding of doors, doorsets and ironmongery; confident with Excel (VLOOKUP, formulas, pivot tables).
  • Knowledge of Approved Documents/industry standards and the ability to manage time, prioritise, and support others through mentoring.

Estimator - Closing Date 06.03.26

This role is perfect for someone who’s organised, detail‑driven, and enjoys getting into the finer points of project requirements. If you like working with technical information, supporting customers with clear and accurate quotations, and being part of a collaborative team that values quality and precision, this position offers a great blend of problem‑solving, learning, and day‑to‑day variety.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations for bespoke doorset packages, panelling and joinery aligned to business margin structures.
  • Support customers with project enquiries and specific queries; check tender documents and make required amendments.
  • Identify value‑engineering options and any contradictions or gaps in information, feeding back to customers.
  • Attend internal project handovers to pass “won” orders to the contracts team; join customer meetings when required; collaborate closely with sales.
  • Deliver against KPIs covering estimating output, quotation return dates, non‑conformance expectations, and conversion rates.

What we’re looking for

  • A proactive, detail‑oriented team player with strong communication, organisation and time‑management skills.
  • Estimating experience and working knowledge of doors/doorsets; ironmongery understanding is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel user (VLOOKUP, formulas, pivot tables); able to prioritise and multi‑task accurately.
