CAD Technician - Closing Date 30.06.26

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Job Type: Full-time (on-site)
Experience Level: 3-5 years
Salary: Dependent on Experience

As a CAD Technician at Integrated Doorsets, you’ll play a key role in turning design concepts into precise, build-ready technical drawings. Supporting both design and manufacturing teams, you’ll ensure all drawings are accurate, compliant, and aligned with client and production requirements, helping deliver high-quality bespoke doorset and joinery solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for bespoke doorsets, joinery, frames, and glazed screens
  • Translate architectural drawings, tender documents, and client specifications into detailed technical designs
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and production teams to ensure designs align with manufacturing requirements
  • Prepare fabrication drawings, cutting lists, and production-ready information for workshop use
  • Ensure all designs meet fire rating, acoustic, and certification standards where required
  • Revise drawings in response to design updates, RFIs, and client feedback
  • Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and document management systems
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and suggest practical design improvements
  • Contribute technical input in internal design review meetings
  • Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and procedures

What You'll Gain

  • Experience as a CAD Technician within joinery, doorsets, or interior fit-out environments
  • Strong working knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
  • Solid understanding of bespoke joinery construction methods and materials
  • Experience producing detailed manufacturing or workshop drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings accurately
  • Knowledge of fire-rated doorsets and compliance standards (desirable)
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Organised approach with good data accuracy and document control awareness
  • Positive team mindset with accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement behaviours

Salary: £16,267.68 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join Integrated Doorsets as an Apprentice Multi-Channel Marketer.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain real-world experience across digital marketing, content creation and campaign delivery, while learning how marketing supports a fast-paced, growing business.

Working as part of our team, you’ll contribute to live projects that support business growth, customer engagement and brand development.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Creating and scheduling content across social media platforms
  • Assisting with website and marketing content updates
  • Coordinating marketing projects and campaign activity
  • Working with colleagues and external partners on marketing materials
  • Supporting photography and videography for campaigns
  • Assisting with internal communications and company updates
  • Helping organise events, exhibitions and promotional activity
  • Attending site visits to capture content and build industry knowledge
  • Managing and organising marketing assets and materials

What You'll Gain
